Orchardton Tower Circular

Clockwise – Take the U-road past the school for a mile to the T-Junction. Bear right towards Orchardton Tower, one of the oldest fortified farmhouses in Scotland.  This is the halfway point. You should return by this route if you don’t want to walk along the A711. To complete the circular route carry on past the Tower to the junction with the A711. Turn right and walk a mile back to the village.
